There's no place like home

Well just had a total Dorothy moment. We (as in the hubby and kids) decided not to stay in today and head for some shopping. Well we started in one direction, but when it came over the radio regarding tornados and such we turned and went the other way. I know you may be thinking why we didn't go home, but shit I don't get to go shopping a lot.

Anyway, shopping and trying on several clothes, it comes over loud speakers. Head to shoe section please, while we wait to see if we get hit by a tornado. Well shit. Do we just leave? Well I really did want this one pair of pants, so OK lets go kids to the shoe dept. After about 10 minutes they decide we should move further in to the shoe stock room for safety. Just imagine aisle after aisle of shoes. I did do a little shopping, I mean no need to waste time.

So obviously we lived. Had a few free lessons in mass hysteria. People are so predictable. I just really don't get to worked up over things like storms and tornados and being herded into a room with 30 other strangers (does that seem wrong). Well storm passes. No one hurt and I got my pants half off (hell yea). All in all I guess trip and storm watch worth it.

Now back home and enjoying the rest of my day.

LOL! Way to multi-task! The Mister had to spend a couple of hours in the cooler at Publix for a tornado not too long ago... They sure didn't give him half off our groceries!
