This Week (in Review)

Sunday:

Peace. Ahhh! It is Sunday and I am trying to stay in the peaceful vibe. It is only part way working, but since I know the rest of the week is pretty crazy, I will go with Power to the Peaceful for today. Wish me luck.

Monday:

Here we go. It's Monday and just like the seven dwarfs we are off to work. HiHo, HiHo. Shit, where is my shovel. See Monday is not going to be good.

Tuesday:

Well I don't drive far to work, but wouldn't this sign have been perfect, just to remind me of how my Tuesday's usually go. Oh Well, I seem to work well with surprises. Is the week going to get any better?

Wednesday & Thursday:

So this is what it looks like around 3 or 4 or 5 am. Hmmmm. Wonder why I usually try not to get up until 6:30ish. So both mornings I had an early wake up call. Was only missing the drill sergeant banging on a garbage lid to wake me. But it was a nice reward. 2 girls and 1 boy. All went well. It was the rest of the day that dragged out.

Friday:

My day to chill. It is well needed and I am freakin tired. So I was bad and only told everyone to get up for the day (you know kids to school, hubby to work) then I went back to bed for another hour or maybe 2. Who's counting? Anyway already feeling tons better and I got my hair cut. So on to Saturday.

The Awe-Manac

Well I may or may not have told you guys about this daily book called "The Awe-Manac, a Daily Dose of Wonder" that I planned on reading daily. It has little exerts and info and just some cool out there kinda stuff. Perfect for me. Anyway, have slacked on my daily dose and am now playing catch up. So I thought I would share some daily wisdom with you guys. Really they are just my favs, you know, thoughts to ponder w/ Lulu.

1. Feb 11th, Quote: "I haven't failed. I just found 10,000 ways that won't work" - Thomas Edison.
(Is this what's called looking on the bright side?)

2. March 1st, Quote: "Most of my major disappointments have turned out to be blessings in disguise. So whenever anything bad does happen to me, I kind of sit back and feel, well, if I give this enough time, it'll turn out that this was good, so I shan't worry about it too much: - William Gaines
(Did he know that I was fixing to get the flu and pneumo?)

3. March 5th, Dose of Mirth: "I couldn't repair your brakes so I made your horn louder" - unknown
(Just a thought, this would be my luck)

4. March 6th, Question: Can you dedicate whatever you are doing to a purpose higher than yourself, even if only you know about the dedication? When we do this, new forces enter in, to back and direct you.
(A question we should all think about)

5. March 8th, Quote: "If I ever die of a heart attack, I hope it will be from playing my stereo too loud" -Anonymous
(Rock On!!! My kinda Quote, maybe it was me?)

My fav (for the time being)

March 12th, Quote:"The only people for me are the mad ones. The ones who are mad to love, mad to talk, mad to be saved; the ones who never yawn or say a commonplace thing, but burn, burn, burn like fabulous yellow Roman candles exploding like spiders across the stars."- Jack Kerouac
(This is so great. This is totally a quote that reflects me and my friends. We're mad here, all mad I say- heehee)

Coming Soon!

My own bucket list. Well I got this email of someone else's choices for a bucket list and you filled out yes or no kinda stuff and sent to friends and vice versa. Well I thought what about the things I really personally want to do? So I have decided to come up with my own bucket list and am trying to get it to a top 10, maybe 20 things. So blog is in progress. I will leave you with this pic to tide you over. (Hint: on my bucket list)

funny pics

Look a picture of me. HeeHee. I loved this. I am so superhero material. And just to add when I had to take CatDog to a B-day party at Chucky Cheese (OMG) a little girl next to us had a Wonder Woman B-Day. Everyone please remember this, I want a Wonder Woman B-day. It was so GREAT!!! I can't wait and look forward to my cake.

Does this view make my butt look fat? OMG. I would die if pics were taken of me like this. Poor Bessie. She doesn't even understand, she probably thinks she is hot. You keep on workin it Bessie.

Look you KISS fans. This was just way to cute.

#1 Flaw

Well since I am totally admitting about not being able to spell, I must also say that it is my #1 flaw. So thinking about all my flaws and realizing that spelling is the worse, then I am doing pretty good. Not everybody can spell. Why there are things such as dictionaries and spell check (I love spell check, except when I am unsure if it is wrong). Of course I have learned the art of renaming whatever I can't spell to something that I can. This is truly a skill.

So I admit it fully that I spell horridly and to love me is to know that I can't spell.

PS- I am on the road to recovery. I am feeling much better and will return to the work force on Monday.

My current ringback tone

For Friday entertainment I am letting you enjoy my ringback tone. I truly believe in music therapy and everything I do does have some unknown reason behind it. So, I loved this song and it fit perfect for my current attitude. If I don't answer my phone it is because I want you to enjoy this song.

Spelling and the Flu

Ok so why is the chicken cartoon so funny. Well I just recently came out of the Flu Coma that I was in for 48 fun hours. I was going to lay an F Bomb down on that shit, but decided not to. Anyway on with the story. I then recovered not fully but went to my fav MD, who usually see's me with the kids, not because I am sick. This is a 4-5 yr layoff from the MD so I have now seen them, hmmm, 3 times since last Friday. I seem to now be suffering from pneumonia. Which is where the cartoon comes in. Remember people I am taking loads of antibiotics and beating around the bush.

So I was going to inform one of my friends via text that I now had pneumonia, but I couldn't (or was totally unsure and did not want to look like an ass) on how to spell it. I even thought of the abbreviation of pneumo or coughing or chest xray bad kind of thing, but just couldn't. So that is why this cartoon is funny. It sounds just like me. Screw the pneumonia spelling, if I had been myself I know I could have come up with something great that meant the same thing. People, I was (and am still in recovery) very sick.

So there you go. Death, Recovery, and can't spell what it was I had. Please people if I do have a tombstone spell my name correctly. I don't want anyone to be confused.

Funny Chickens, haha
