The Best Mom Award

I know you guys are pretty much like me and think that your kids are full of BS until proved otherwise. Especially regarding ailments of why they should not go to school. Well Catdog told me all morning that his stomach hurt

Reinactment:
Catdog: Mom my stomach hurts, I can't put on my shoes.
Mom: Your fine just put on your shoes. We are running late.
Catdog: Mom my stomach hurts, I can't go to school.
Mom: Your fine. Here I will put on your shoes. We have to go.
Catdog: Mom my stomach hurts.
Mom: Go to school and call Grandma if not better.
Catdog: I don't know her number.
Mom: Get in the car we are late. School will have her number.

Ride to school (in big ass vehicle on winding narrow road, probably exceding speed limit - unsure on that)
Catdog: Mom I need a check for my scholastic book order. Mom my stomach hurts.
Mom: Here let me write it (while driving on said road). You will be fine.
Catdog: Mom this is it. For Real. This is it. I am going to be sick. For Real this time, mom.
(She's going to blow)
Mom: Crap
(Big ass vehicle pulled to side road, door opened)
Catdog: I'm going to be sick
Hurl, Hurl, Hurl. At least was on road w/ minimal splatter.
Catdog: Now do you believe me mom.
Mom: We need to call dad to meet us at home.
Catdog: So I'm not going to school then. I told you my stomach hurt.

Got introduced to this band via facebook and I am in love with this song. Totally can't find it anywhere the WTF is that all about. Please be in the store today, because I am going to look, again..

Sigh....

Having a moment of memory, reflection, of a love lost. Well really just watching old(er) movies on TV today while doing nothing else and there he is... The One that could have been. Sigh... Anyway Heath Ledger was always one of my favorite hotties. I may have stood a chance, but it will never be. What more could I have asked for, Good looks, Husky Voice, and oh did I mention yet, Australian. Again, sigh...

I was also thinking of all my favorite movies he was in... A Knight's Tale, 10 Things I hate About You.. Do I have these movies.. Casanova, The Patriot.. I could go on and on. Guess I will enjoy the pics instead.

Thought

Well anyone who knows me is fully aware that I have probably umptenth thousand thoughts roaming around in my head. It actually is a novelty to talk with me, because I do blurt out some funny shit (usually the unexpected varity to boot). Anyway, I was thinking instead of logging all the babies I deliver (which I have been so busy that I really haven't even been doing that), I was thinking I could log the music or song I heard while on the way (or in the room if the TV is on).

Reason being is that I was just laughing because I heard the original "Double Dutch Bus" at 0015 hours (or a little after midnight, for all you laypersons) on my drive in to a delivery. I had pictures of roller skates and my moms record of this song (oh my) in my head.

So I think this could hold some merrit. Wouldn't you want to know that AC/DC was playing right before I delivered your little one. Or maybe Pink, or whatever. I am leaving you with "double dutch bus" just because I like it. And will let you know if this project stands a chance.
